Ponni Iyer was the lead Indian collaborator
on our UK India Education Research Initiative project (UKIERI 2008 to 2011).
Without her, our collaborative educational projects and research would not have
been possible! Together we worked with the British Council, and several
important key partners, in further and higher education institutions in both
countries, to explore and develop our understanding of how diversity and
equality issues impacted policy, curriculum and teaching in our varied
educational institutions.
She has extensive experience of all things
educational, and is open minded, hardworking, passionate and knowledgeable. I
wish her well with this new on-line initiative.
